When it's TV time…THINK Furniture Factories for MEDIA FURNITURE
These days, it seems we watch something all the time…we all have our
favorites, and so sometimes, the TV just stays on. Since being
"current" in every way has become an important part of our lives, come
to Furniture Factories Showrooms and select an appropriate cabinet for your TV
and components.
After all, you know you can rely on us to have the "current" sizes
and styles of media furniture, all at affordable price points like a lovely
woodtone plasma wall unit that holds a 65" set, lots of components, and has
lighted piers on each side. Just right!
Plasma TVs are here to stay...so we've got PLASMA furniture...
You may be needing a plasma TV stand, so take a look at ours. Maybe your
space is streamlined and contemporary...so you'd go for our black and glass
styles that seem to float above the floor. One model vertically stacks your
components in a forward-looking X-framed stand about four feet high, another
holds a 55" set and two components on what could be mistakenly called a
cocktail table. Open sides and backs provide easy connectivity. Whatever you're
looking for is probably already here though...and if not, we'll order you one.
If your home is more traditional, you might choose a stylish wood model with
open shelving for components and different door treatments like wire mesh,
glass, or inlaid wood. Some are stained a natural wood-tone, some are distressed
and primarily painted black. The height on these varies however, as some can
double for sideboards, but others are low slung and measure about
24" tall..for the low, cleaned lined look. We even have small stands (for
regular TVs about 25" or less) and their components too.
Need a lift? Our PLASMA LIFT CABINETS are the latest!
We have lift cabinets too that hold your plasma TV and keep it conveniently
out of sight until it's TV time. The traditionally styled ones could fit
beautifully in your family room or at the foot of your bed and the contemporary
ones look great in your office. We even have one built into the footboard of a
contemporary bed...quietly waiting for your touch on the remote to come into
view...!
We have THEATER SEATING for the upstairs MEDIA ROOM!
When it's time to sit back and reach for the popcorn, you'll want a
comfortable seat that supports your shoulders, neck and feet and just looks
great too..so be sure and see the ones we're showing first. Most are leather,
some are microfiber. All are super comfortable, and have cup holders and foot
rests built right in. We'll help you choose your colors and style and get a
configuration that works just right!
Is it a TV CABINET or a Traditional ARMOIRE?? I love it!
You know you've found a great style when this happens, (and it does quite a
bit)..because traditional storage units (for media or clothing both) are looking
better than ever. We typically like large pieces of furniture in our homes, but
with TVs changing shape like they have been recently, our "big" pieces
are changing too. With today's pared down electronics, you don't need a huge
"entertainment center" for just your TV anymore. Instead, now we need
more DVD, Surround Sound, and component storage space!
So, some of today's media cabinets are "triples," with three
side-by-side doors, and of course, we are still showing lots of
"doubles"...large two piece cabinets with a pair of doors at the top
over more storage on the bottom. We even have some "singles," a one
door, medium-tall cabinet designed for multiple uses. They're great for tight
spaces in kitchens, guest bedrooms, or anywhere you need a small TV cabinet that
looks like it might hold something else too....and does!
Now anybody can display a basic box cabinet that does the storage job...but
it's the finishes, styling, AND great pricing that you'll flip over on the ones
at Furniture Factories Showrooms. Distressed and crackled finishes are popular,
and we're showing some beautiful hand painted ones too, but we also have the
sleek and polished natural wood models. Come see which ones will make your room
look Fabulous!
Smaller is Better..or it is..Bigger is Better?
Only your TV CABINET can tell
With the ceiling height in many new homes soaring way above our heads, taller
pieces look and fit the scale of the rooms better, so we have those available
for you. And taller means bigger on the inside too, so ours are constructed to
accommodate those bigger conventional TVs -- up to 50" wide. Now that's
wide for a cabinet that hides the TV and still has style and graceful
proportions - and room for the accessories.
On the other hand, standard 8' ceilings abound as well, so you'll find a nice
selection of 5' to 6' media cabinets on our floor too...and are they good
looking!! Kitchens or kneewalls in upstairs rooms and lofts are great spots to
place conveniently-sized piece like this that hold smaller TVs and offer limited
storage. You choose which is best for you.
Need a TV in the corner??
Check out our CORNER CABINETS & specialty pieces too
Occasionally you'll have a need for a specially sized piece to do a special
job... like when you suddenly need a corner "something" for your TV.
When this happens, come to Furniture Factories Showrooms and let our designer
consultants order you something wonderful, or pick out something from our
warehouse stock like an unusual painted piece.
We're currently showing a handsome two piece stacked corner cabinet in a
lustrous dark finish, with shelves above and handy doors below...perfect to
store a certain someone's movie collection and still hold a small TV and a few
accessories. Or, you may prefer a one piece corner storage piece with glass or
louvered doors that completely cover both components and/or small shelves on
each side. The TV sits on top of these units, at a convenient viewing
height...Clever, handy, and of course, affordably priced! Let us choose one just
right for you.
